[Based on and expanded from a Maranatha leaflet]

The Word became flesh and lived among us . . . No one has ever seen God. It is God the only Son, who is close to the Father’s heart, who has made him known John 1:14,18.  To the Christian Jesus is the Son of the Living God, the Saviour, Redeemer and Lord.  He had a miraculous conception, was born into poverty, fled as a refugee to Egypt, lived an obscure life in Nazareth.  His ministry was despised, he suffered a scandalous crucifixion but had a triumphant resurrection, stunning ascension into heaven and has promised to return.  This is who we celebrate at Christmas.

WHO IS HE TO YOU?
